KAS series machines are designed for optimal machining of aluminum rods and aluminum profiles. The saw head can be precisely set for mitering, and pneumatic gripping cylinders hold the workpiece. The included machine base provides storage space for versatile machine setup. With their compact design and angular accuracy, these machines are used in facade and window construction and also in mechanical and systems engineering, when light metals must be cut to length with little or no reworking.

  • A large smooth-surfaced material support with pneumatically operated workpiece gripping is available for holding the workpiece.
  • Well planned ergonomics for easy adjustment of the saw head to the desired cutting angle
  • The angle can be set precisely using the scale integrated into the table.
  • Marks at common angle positions make precise positioning even easier
  • Holding the workpiece on both sides is important for safe work and burr-free cutting
  • The positioning jaw extends over the entire width of the setup table, and the position of the material grippers is adjustable
  • The material grippers have a plastic insert in the gripping surface to protect the workpiece surfaces
  • For saw cutting, the entire saw head is guided by the operator using a handle, while an assist spring reduces the operating forces
  • The robust, low-maintenance drive has a powerful AC motor. 
  • A delicate, vibration-damping ribbed V-belt drive for the saw blade offers compact dimensions and excellent transmission performance at high rotation speeds
  • The self-closing saw blade guard has a connection for exhaust attachments
  • The machine base allows for space-saving flexible setup of the machine
