Machine Frame

• A steel frame made from certified raw material combined with a modern design, vast experience and extensive production know-how result in above average rigidity and accuracy
• All mounting surfaces of the carefully welded and strain-free steel construction are machined on modern high-end CNC machining centers
• The holder for the measuring system compensates for deformations at maximum loads to ensure constant reliable precision

• The large top beam is prestressable, and therefore optimized for lowest possible deformation

Work Area

• A large throat, long stroke, and narrow table ensure plenty of free space to accommodate complex bending sequences

Crowning

• The motorized crowning system compensates for any clamping bar deflection, which is very important when working with thicker plates in order to ensure precise bending results across the entire bending length

Hydraulics

• Hydraulic cylinders are custom designed for this machine’s requirement and are manufactured and honed in-house
• Hydraulic pistons also are manufactured in-house from forged steel, then hardened, ground, and chrome-plated
• Hydraulic blocks and valves from renowned manufacturers ensure superior quality, performance, and reliability
• The powerful variable frequency drive allows precise control of hydraulic movements, is significantly more quiet, reduces wear and saves energy
• Construction and selection of hydraulic components has been carefully matched to this modern layout to achieve maximum efficiency
• Safety valves prevent overloads and damages to the system

Back Gauge

• The back gauge has two controlled axes (X+R) with manually positionable back gauge fingers
• It features a very robust design and is low maintenance
• The back gauge fingers can be quickly adjusted with a safety tool via direct access from the machine front

Front Support Arms

• A precision-stepped adjustment system allows quick vertical positioning of support arms
• The sides feature smooth running linear guideways with high load capacity and low maintenance
• Robust industrial-grade brushes are provided for easy positioning of metal sheets without mechanical forces affecting their surface

Bending Tools

• Promecam (European) tool mounts accommodate an extensive selection of bending tools
• All tools are hardened and ground, and allow precise setup

Safety and Productivity

• The AKAS laser safety system monitors safety at the tool without affecting its functionality
• Safety features are based on the latest CE regulations
• A light curtain at the rear of the machine and robust safety guards at the sides secure the work area
