• This design absorbs high axial and transverse forces caused by heavy-duty machining and very heavy workpieces
• A powerful motor positions the table at the desired height over the vertical spindle that is centered below the table
• Parallel positioned clamping slots simplify setup of workpieces on the drill table for high precision and reproducibility
• The work area of the vertical guideway is protected from chips and coolant splashes with a robust stainless steel cover
• The main spindle gears run in an oil bath, allowing for a very high torque across the entire speed range
• Manual central lubrication system simplifies regular maintenance
• The current spindle speed is shown on a digital display on the machine control panel
• The feed gear is integrated in the drill head and runs in an oil bath for low maintenance
• The automatic quill feed features an electromagnetic clutch for smooth and comfortable shifting via a button on the capstan handle
• The drill depth can be limited in the automatic feed via an electronic depth stop
• After reaching the desired drill depth, the feed will automatically shut off, and the quill will be returned to its zero position via spring force
• If the user selected the thread cutting function, this stop will also set the desired thread depth
• Upon reaching the set position, the machine will automatically reverse spindle rotation
• A powerful coolant pump is integrated in the machine base and is part of the standard equipment package
• The modern LED machine light is bright, long lasting, and provides optimum lighting for increased operator safety
• For quick tool changing, the machine features a spindle drive with an ejection function within the quill that requires no tools
