Machine Frame

• Base, column, boom and gear head are made of premium high-quality cast
• A heavy, solid base plate with clamping slots is the foundation of this compact radial drill press

Drill head

• The heavy drill head runs on wide, hardened rectangular guideways that can withstand very high loads
• The centrally located hand-wheel allows for exact drill head positioning and gives the user full control over the boom’s swiveling movement
• The boom can be moved vertically, while column and head remain clamped and fixed in their positions
• A clamping lever at the drill head allows the operator to preselect, if the boom should be released for swiveling, whereby axes will be simultaneously fixed in the requested position above the drill head clamping lever
• The gears for spindle speed and feed are hardened and precision-ground pinion gears that ensure consistent and quiet operation
• For high speeds, the infinitely variable spindle speed features two gear steps
• The feed gears have 4 gear steps for handling a wide spectrum of machining applications
• Adjustable boring depth stop has a large, easy to read scale and Nonius
• All operator controls are placed within reach for convenient and practical handling and quick learning

Accessories

• Powerful coolant system with coolant reservoir integrated into the machine foot
• The rugged LED work light with splash guard is bright, energy-efficient, and glare-free
• Manual central lubrication system simplifies maintenance
