Drill head

• A 2-step motor and a precision-stepped spindle gear drive allow for a wide rpm range with high torque
• High-quality electric components ensure high reliability and safety in every-day workshop operations
• The current spindle speed is shown on a digital display on the machine control panel
• The 3-step feed gear is integrated in the drill head and runs in an oil bath for low maintenance
• The automatic quill feed features an electromagnetic clutch for smooth and comfortable shifting
• The entire quill stroke can be easily read at a large scale on the drill head, and the drill depth can be limited in the automatic feed via an integrated depth stop
• After reaching the desired drill depth, the feed will automatically shut off, and the quill will be returned to its zero position via spring force
• If the user selected the thread cutting function, this stop will also set the desired thread depth
• Upon reaching the set position, the machine will automatically reverse spindle rotation
• The LED work lamp is bright, long lasting, and provides optimum lighting for increased operator safety
• For quick tool changing, the drill press features a spindle drive with an ejection function within the quill that requires no tools
